In its basic form paper honeycomb is used as a replacement for solid filling materials in doors, walls and partitions. Manufactured from recycled paper, its strength is gained from the honeycomb shape used in its construction.
Sonoco's expanded paper honeycomb (EPH) is the basic paper honeycomb product with a top and bottom cover sheet attached. This versatile, strong, lightweight product can be used as inner packaging, top panels, base pads, separator panels, dunnage panels, pallets and void formers.
