Advanced Barrier Solutions for Added Protection

All-paper cans are lined with barrier protection to keep oxygen and moisture out while maintaining the freshness of the contents inside. Sonoco offers low, medium and high barrier coatings inside the paper tube and peelable paper membranes to preserve your product.

The multiple layers are wound with 100% recycled paperboard, create a rigidity that withstands handling, stacking and external pressure while protecting delicate contents from breakage.

Sustainability Benefits: All-Paper Containers

Engineered for Packaging Circularity

All-paper containers are made with 100% recycled fiber, with up to 90% coming from post-consumer resources, eliminating the necessity for virgin fibers and actively contributing to the reversal of deforestation practices. The EnviroCan® with a Paper Bottom successfully passed the Repulpability and the Recyclability tests at Western Michigan University, yielding more than 85% recovered fiber and proving that it did not affect resulting product performance.
