Our fruit packaging is available in sizes ranging from snack-size samplers to bulk trays.

It offers:

• Side-slot, top and bottom hole vents for fast cool-down
• Insertable tubs and lids for volume weight adjustability
• Denesting lugs for easy separation
• Compatibility with 5-, 6- and 8-down footprints

All fresh fruit clamshells are manufactured in the USA and contain a range of 20 – 45% recycled PET from recycled beverage bottles. Each clamshell meets international resin codes and the sustainable packaging requirements of major retailers.

Consumers want packaging solutions that offer transparency and convenience. Our EnviroServe™ Punnets and Trays highlight the quality and freshness of your product with high – quality PET. Our optional integrated lidding options offer consumers the added convenience of easy-open and reseal technologies. They are designed with a flange suitable for decorative top-seal films. Side venting is available to promote cooling, moisture management and freshness. Macro and micro perforations are also available for our lidding options.

Top Seal produce containers are now available with Sonoco’s SmartSeal peel-and-reseal technology, which features a patented precision-scored easy-open and reclose feature. Make it easy for consumers to use, reseal and reuse their produce with the convenience of SmartSeal technology, which also allows for tamper evidence and high-impact graphics without the need of a secondary label to be applied.

We offer a variety of lidding and bag films for fresh produce. Our laser-perforated structures, as well as polymer blends, deliver required oxygen and moisture transmission rates to help extend freshness and shelf life. Our portfolio also includes a range of features to choose from, including anti-fog properties, tamper evidence technology, peel/reseal system, discrete labeling and Unique Identifier Codes/QR codes that can be used for traceability and other applications.
